Digital Project Manager

Experience and competencies

As a Digital Project Manager, you will:

  • Commercial agency experience/software development experience
  • Have worked with Jira, Asana, Monday, Trello or similar Kanban and task management software
  • Have the day-to-day responsibility for the smooth and effective running of our digital team’s projects.
  • Ensuring the project teams efficiency and effectiveness so that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Keeping track of timings, milestones, budgets and resources across all projects daily.
  • Work with internal team members to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects. Then produce roadmaps, schedules, costing’s, scoping documents and technical specifications.
  • Will be the main point of contact between the team and clients. Liaising between the project team (UX/designers/developers/testers) and project stakeholders; fostering quality and clear communication between disciplines.
  • Being responsible for ensuring that relevant clients and account team members are kept up to date on project developments: changes in timings, costs and any issues arising, and managing expectations on both sides.
  • Liaising with the project team through Q&A to quality check work and providing actionable feedback.
  • Manage and deliver multiple work streams for various types of digital projects within an account (e.g. website development, design, build, email marketing campaigns, etc.) to agreed scope, timings, budget and quality as needed.
  • Create proposal and costings
  • A solid understanding of the key technical aspects of the development processes.

As a front-end developer, you’ll show the ability to deliver great interfaces and interactive components to an extremely high level of quality. In addition, you’ll be responsible for putting in place processes, maintaining and managing the standards with which other team members deliver their work.

In a pivotal role, you’ll be working closely with our digital designers, backend developers and product managers to deliver our cutting edge products.

You know your way around frontend code. You like to use your skills as a developer to push things further, adding meaningful interactions that aid the user experience and improve the finished product quality.

Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of frontend engineering principles, your knowledge of technologies must include Javascript, TypeScript, React, SCSS, CSS and
  • HTML5 with at least five years of experience.
  • A keen eye for animation, timing, and modern web techniques
  • A thorough understanding of frontend frameworks, design patterns and naming conventions. BEM for example
  • Optimising web pages and rendering pipelines for performance using Lighthouse and related tools
  • Excellent knowledge of web standards and accessibility (WCAG)
  • Ability to create pixel-perfect front end designs as supplied by our design team
  • Attention to detail and a meticulous dedication to crafting high-quality front end experience
  • The ability to multitask, debug issues and solve problems effectively.
  • You have your eye on the future and always staying ahead of the trends in web, mobile and product design and the best practices.
